Priyanka sweeps floor, Akhilesh detained over Lakhimpur Kheri farmer deaths

From Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra sweeping the floor, to Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav getting detained amid much drama - the Opposition seems to be going all out to corner the BJP over the deaths of four farmers in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri. Union Minister Ajay Mishra and his son Ashish have been booked over the deaths. Lakhimpur Kheri was on the boil on October 3 after a convoy allegedly ran over protesting farmers, killing 4. In the ensuing violence, 4 people were allegedly dragged from one of the cars and beaten to death. UP's Yogi government refused permission to Opposition leaders to visit the place.
