Gujarat Election: Wankaner Assembly Constituency 2022 Wankaner Assembly constituency is one of the 182 Gujarat Legislative Assembly constituencies. Voters of the Wankaner Assembly segment polled as per the Gujarat Election 2022 Schedule and the Gujarat Assembly Election 2022 results were declared on 8 December 2022.

In the 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election, there were 13 candidates in the fray from Wankaner constituency. Wankaner was one of 77 seats won by the Indian National Congress. It was an extremely close fight, with Indian National Congress's Pirzada Mahamadjavid Abdulmutalib narrowly winning the election upstaging Bharatiya Janata Party's Jitendra Kantilal Somani (JITU SOMANI) by a slim margin of 1,361 votes.

The top three candidates split 94.1% of votes between them. Indian National Congress's Pirzada Mahamadjavid Abdulmutalib secured a total of 72,588 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Jitendra Kantilal Somani (JITU SOMANI) got 71,227 votes. Independent candidate Gordhanbhai Polabhai Saravaiya bagged 25,547 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 40.3%, 39.6% and 14.2% respectively.
