Bharatiya Janata Party's Abhesinh Motibhai Tadvi won the election by upstaging Indian National Congress's Bhil Dhirubhai Chunilal by a margin of 12,849 votes.

The top two candidates split 94.3% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Abhesinh Motibhai Tadvi got a total of 90,200 votes, while Indian National Congress's Bhil Dhirubhai Chunilal secured 77,351 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Kiritbhai Ranachhodbhai Tadavi secured 2,544 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 50.7%, 43.5% and 1.4% respectively.
