Gujarat Election: Gandhinagar South Assembly Constituency 2022 Gandhinagar South Assembly constituency is one of the 182 Gujarat Legislative Assembly constituencies. Voters of the Gandhinagar South Assembly segment polled as per the Gujarat Election 2022 Schedule and the Gujarat Assembly Election 2022 results were declared on 8 December 2022.

In 2017, 10 candidates were contesting for Gandhinagar South assembly constituency seat. Gandhinagar South was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Thakor Shambhuji Chelaji won the election by defeating Indian National Congress's Govindji Hiraji Solanki by a margin of 11,538 votes.

96.4% of the total votes were casted to top two candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Thakor Shambhuji Chelaji got a total of 1,07,480 votes, while Indian National Congress's Govindji Hiraji Solanki got 95,942 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Jadugar Piyushbhai Chaturbhai grabbed 2,761 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 50.9%, 45.5% and 1.3% respectively.
