Grammys 2020: Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Duet on 'Nobody But You'

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani gave the live performance debut of their duet “Nobody But You” on the 2020 Grammy Awards.

Shelton, in a three-piece suit, began the song solo, strumming an acoustic guitar and tackling the opening verse, before Stefani joined him from stage right. Dressed in a gown adorned with hearts and wearing a red rosebud headband, the pop star waltzed toward the country singer, and the duo completed the performance facing each other.

A soaring ballad, the track appears on Shelton’s latest release, God’s Country: Fully Loaded, a collection of past singles and new material. “Nobody But You” was written by Ross Copperman, Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne, and Tommy Lee James and hits the sweet spot for the two singers, who have been romantically linked since 2015.

With a chorus about “loving nobody but you,” the song is both a declaration of love for the other person and the path that brought them together. Last week, Shelton and Stefani released a personal music video for the track.

Shelton was nominated for Best Country Solo Performance at the Grammys for his song “God’s Country.” Next month, he’ll resume his coaching role on the 18th season of NBC’s The Voice. His Friends and Heroes 2020 Tour — with John Anderson, Lauren Alaina and others — gets underway February 13th in Portland, Oregon.
